Role: Product Design Lead | A Place for Mom
Streamlining CRM for Community Partners

Overview

Problem Statement

Community partners were facing significant inefficiencies when tracking and recording moves related to leads referred by A Place for Mom. The fragmented CRM system caused manual data entry, lack of seamless integration, and poor visibility into lead tracking, leading to delays and missed opportunities.

  • Manual Data Entry: Partners were entering lead data manually, introducing potential errors and inefficiencies.
  • Lack of Integration: No connection between A Place for Mom and partner systems, leading to double data entry and disjointed workflows.

Objective

The project aimed to design a streamlined CRM system to help community partners easily record and track moves, reduce manual entry, and provide real-time visibility into lead statuses. The goal was to improve the efficiency of the lead management process while enhancing communication and collaboration between A Place for Mom and its partners.

Solution

  • CRM Integration: Developed a solution within the existing CRM platform that automatically detected the communities partners were associated with. Partners could easily view and select from a list of potential residents and log the move directly.
  • Simplified Data Entry: Reduced the fields required for each lead entry to minimize the time spent on manual data entry. Key information, such as family needs and move-in dates, could be captured in just a few clicks.
  • Real-Time Data Syncing: Ensured all lead data was updated in real-time across all platforms, keeping A Place for Mom and its partners in sync at all times.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Designed a clean, intuitive interface with clear visual cues and progress tracking, allowing partners to see exactly where they were in the process.
